10 Decemeber 2009- New York, NY- Shooting in Times Square shocks and horrifies tourist as they shop for the Holiday. Shots rang out during the early afternoon in the heart of New York City's Times Square when a NYPD Police Officer shot an alleged perpertrator in a Marriott Hotel Parking lot. The suspect who allegedly fired at Officer, after a brief chase was fatally shot by NYPD Officer who returned fired wounding suspect. Suspect later died at Bellevue Hospital. NYPD Officer was shot and transported to Bellevue Hospital
