RUN-DMC gets their own street in Hollis, Queens

Atmosphere at 205th and Hollis for the official renaming of 205th Street to RUN-DMC JJ Way in Hollis Queens, NY on August 30, 2009..A project of Councilman Leroy Comrie, 205th street in Hollis, Queens was named after the famed Icon Rap Group, RUN-DMC, with special comments made by various community and civic leaders. This renaming marks the first time in the country that a street is named after a Hiphop Group.
