October 30, 2012- Brooklyn, NY: New York Senator Chuck Schumer updates New Yorkers and the Nation of efforts and numbers on city response to Hurricane Sandy held at the Office of Emergency Management on October 30, 2012 in Downtown Brooklyn, NY. The Super Hurricane has ravaged parts of the New York City area where the storm has brought 23 serious fires to parts of Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens as well as City Island and the Bronx, including the destruction of more than 80 houses in the Breezy Point section of the Rockaways.
