October 30, 2012- Brooklyn, NY: New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and top City Officials update New Yorkers and the Nation of efforts and numbers on city response to Hurricane Sandy held at the Office of Emergency Management on October 30, 2012 in Downtown Brooklyn, NY. The Super Hurricane has ravaged parts of the New York City area where the storm has brought 23 serious fires to parts of Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens as well as City Island and the Bronx, including the destruction of more than 80 houses in the Brezzy Point section of the Rockaways.
